Calhoun County Fair 2026 - Barn in the USA

The Calhoun County Fair is back for another year of family fun in Hardin, Illinois!

Come out to the fairgrounds for a celebration of Calhoun County’s agriculture, community, and traditions. Enjoy live entertainment, livestock and agricultural exhibits, competitions, pageants, grandstand events, and plenty of activities for the whole family.

Thursday, September 10

• 6:00 p.m. Judging of Departments H-2 - Dogs & Cats, I-1 – Poultry and I-2 – Rabbits - Presented by: Grafton Veterinary Services   
• 6:30 p.m. Official Fair Opening at the Flagpole on the Fairgrounds
• 7:00 p.m. At Grandstand– Talent Show
• 7:00 p.m. At Tractor Pull Arena – Captain Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters 

Friday, September 11

Coronation approximately 8:15 p.m.

The fair is held at the fairgrounds on Poor Farm Hollow Road in Hardin, just one mile north of the Joe Page Bridge. The Calhoun County Fair Association is dedicated to providing safe, affordable family fun while preserving the history, culture, and heritage of Calhoun County.

Admission is available by season ticket or day pass, with free admission for children ages 0–7. Seniors 60 and over also receive free admission from 12–4 p.m. on Saturday.
