Once the tree lighting festivities concluded, the RiverBender.com Community Center hosted its yearly open house. Children enjoyed games and raffle prizes, courtesy of Hit N Run, along with another chance to visit Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
The Lincoln Douglas Square in Alton was once again filled to celebrate the city's annual tree lighting ceremony. To start off the evening's events, carolers performed while children visited Mr. and Mrs. Claus. The Salvation Army was also present to hand out hot chocolate and cookies.
