Megan & Karman Fairless join us to preview an upcoming exhibition at Mooneyham Art. Karman’s Daughter, Megan’s Dad is a unique father–daughter exhibition featuring Megan and her father, Karman Fairless, showcasing how their creative journeys have influenced one another across decades. The opening reception takes place April 4 from 5–9 PM, with live music, refreshments, and a full month-long display through April.
Megan, an award-winning filmmaker and founder of Megyme Productions, brings a modern, cinematic perspective to the exhibit, while Karman’s nationally recognized work in airbrush and sculpture, including a new interpretation of the Piasa Bird... grounds the show in local history and craftsmanship. We’ll talk about the story behind the exhibit, the bond between their work, and what makes this a full-circle moment for both artists.
