Though Covid delayed the ongoing project, the city of Alton was proud to announce that construction has begun on a new splash pad and restroom facilities by the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater.
It was a cold morning in the river bend this Saturday, but that didn't stop fundraising efforts for cancer research as participants took the plunge into the chilly pond at Gordon Moore Park.
