The Juneteenth celebration commemorates the ending of slavery in a America. Sponsored by the National Council of Negro Women, the event hosted a petting zoo, arts, crafts, the Jesse White Tumblers, food, music, and a variety of other activities to celebrate the historical event.

Flags were raised, songs were sang, and proclamations were read as Alton begain its 26th annual Juneteenth celebration.

Miner Park was filled with carnival rides, vendors, and music as the city held a weekend-long celebration to commemorate its 125th year.

Cars packed the streets of downtown Alton for the 20th Annual All-Wheels Drive-In Car Show. The event showcased local vendors, music, swing dancing, car contest, and even a pin-up model contest.

The Two Rivers Family Fishing Fair is a free event that offers fun and education for the entire family. Vendor stations fill Pere Marquette Park with educational booths, fishing stations, helicopters, and even a live bear!
