William “Billy” Michael Sweeney, 51, died at 7:46 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at his daughter’s home.
He was born August 23, 1970 in Alton the son of the late Alan Lee and Donna (Embry) Sweeney.
Surviving are six children, Billie Jo Sweeney of Granite City, Mikey Sweeney of Hardin, IL, Kara Martin Garrett of Godfrey, IL, Candis Ruyle (Dane) of Cottage Hills, IL, John Sweeney of Godfrey and Jacquelyn Sweeney of East Alton, IL, two brothers, David Sweeney and Eric Sweeney of Florida.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Andrea Sweeney.
