William “Billy D” Dixon, 59, died at 4:58 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born April 18, 1956 in Alton the son of the late Orville J. and Nancy (Greenwell) Dixon. Surviving are one daughter, Jessica Crain of Detroit, MI, one son, Billy Treece of Detroit, MI, two brothers, Terry Dixon of Alton and John Dixon of Collinsville, two sisters, Mary Edelen of Alton and Paula Lawver of Alton, and his girlfriend, Kitty of Alton. He was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Dixon and one sister, Deann Sue Dixon. A memorial visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
