Willetta Fae Lundahl, 90, died at 9:05 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2024 at Evercare of Jerseyville.
Born November 9, 1934 in Machens, MO, she was the daughter of William and Frances (Wardein) Roderfeld.
Mrs. Lundahl was a devout Catholic and longtime member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Alton where she enjoyed working at the church bazaars and was a member of the Altar Society. She was a machine operator for the Olin Corporation for over 30 years.
She loved to bake and made several of the wedding cakes for her nieces and nephews. A lover of nature, she enjoyed watching the wildlife, the sunsets, the river boats and barges all from “the view” of her home on the bluffs.
She married Donald Lee Lundahl. He preceded her in death.
Surviving is a brother, Alvin “Slick” Roderfeld of Alton, a granddaughter, Sarah Ann Graham and a step grandson, John Ronald Maness as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Eugene Lundahl, two brothers, Glen Roderfeld and Willis Arthur Roderfeld, and three sisters, Dolores Tallman, Marian Murphy and Monica Murphy.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.–10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Father Jeff Holtman will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey. Memorials may be made to SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church or Masses.
