Wayne Thomas Becker Sr., 82, died at 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital.
He was born May 13, 1943 in Maywood, IL, the son of the late William and Irma (Traunstiener) Becker. He owned for many years a dry clean delivery service in the area.
On March 13, 1966 in the Chicago area, he married Sherry Russell, and she preceded him in death February of 2021.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Becker of Wood River, Jennifer Myers of Alton, one son, Wayne Thomas Becker Jr. of Alton, four grandchildren, Brittney, Alec, Karlie and Anthony, two great grandchildren, Ava and Wayne and three brothers, Charlie Becker, Johnny Becker and George Becker.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Nikki Becker.
No services are scheduled at this time. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
