Walter Vulliet, age 73 of Carrollton, IL, died Saturday, December 7, 2024, at his home in Carrollton, IL.

He was born on Thursday, July 12, 1951, in Highland, IL, the son of Rolland and Carladine (nee Gause) Vulliet.

On Saturday, December 15, 2007, he married Rhonda L. Vulliet nee Vandygriff in Medora, IL, who survives.

Walter was born and raised in Highland, Illinois, graduating from Highland High School in 1970. After graduation, he enlisted into the U.S. Marines Corp active duty from June 1970 to June 1973, ending with the rank of Sgt. Upon completion of his military duties, he became a LPN and worked in Highland, Jerseyville and Carrollton, Illinois. Walter enjoyed gambling and fishing in his spare time.

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Military Honors will be Friday, December 20, 2024, at 1 p.m. (please arrive 30 minutes prior) at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home, Highland, Illinois, by the Lee Iten Post 439-American Legion and VFW Post 5694, Highland, Illinois.

Private Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
