Virginia Vosholler

Virginia Irma Vosholler, age 93 of Highland, IL, died Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Cedarhurst of Highland in Highland, IL.

She was born on Sunday, August 14, 1932, in Highland, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Emma (nee Sudhoff) Reinacher.

On Tuesday, October 14, 1952, she married Anton J. "Tony" Vosholler at Immaculate Conception Church in Pierron, Illinois, who passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She was also a member of Sharpshooters and the ICC Altar Society.

Virginia was born in Highland, Illinois and grew up there. She attended County School for 1 year, then went to Highland School and graduated in 1950. Virginia went to work at the Highland Bakery for 1 year, then she went to Hug Emperor Clock Factory and worked there for 6 years.She lived on the family farm, which she helped her husband with until 1990 when she moved to Highland. Virginia and her husband maintained the flowers at Lindendale Park for many years.Virginia enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting. She loved meeting with her card club group and playing rummy, canasta and pinochle. She and her husband enjoyed dancing and going on trips and bus tours together. Virginia attended her grandchildren’s sporting activities as much as she could. She had quite a few different collections, including coins, stamps, bells, holiday decorations, music books, beanie babies and of course clothes.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pierron, IL.

Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, Cerebral Palsy Foundation or Masses.
