Vickie Ann Poppen, 73, of Carlinville, IL, died at Carlinville Rehab Center, Carlinville, IL on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 10:15 p.m. She was born May 16, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, MO to William Cruse & Cleotha Skinner Cruse Hulls LeClere. She married Albert Poppen. She was a homemaker. Vickie loved dancing, her children and family. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Bryant, grandchildren, Hailee, Trinity, Ryan, Bentlee, siblings, Cathy Nicholas, Bonnie Allen, Judy LeClere and Wanda Culpepper. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, siblings, Harry Cruse, Shirley Green, Linda Sutton and Gilbert LeClere. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
