Thomas Reagan

Thomas W. “Tom” Reagan, 60, of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away at 8:55 a.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.

Thomas was born February 22, 1965, in East St. Louis, Illinois, a son of the late James D. and Mary (Perkins) Reagan. He grew up in Glen Carbon and was a 1983 graduate of Edwardsville High School.

He retired as a supervisor from the Village of Glen Carbon in August 2025 after many years of dedicated service with the parks department. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Edwardsville and loved his days of camping and playing cards. He was always there to help others and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends. Thomas was a dedicated father and grandfather. He was known by many for his kindness, humor, compassion, and work ethic. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas W. and Morgan Reagan of Fulshear, Texas and Garrett O’Brien of Highland; a daughter and son-in-law, Karlie and Adam Truckenmiller of Festus, Missouri; five grandchildren, Grace, Ian, Jaxson, Olivia and Quinn; a sister, Patricia Revelle of Glen Carbon, a brother, and sister-in-law, James and Dawn Reagan of Edwardsville; nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.

In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until time of a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville at a later date.
