Thomas P.T. Myers, 77, passed away at 10:20am on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at St. Anthony's Hospital. He was born on August 12, 1935, in Oregon the son of the late Herbert and Lucille (Sneed) Myers. He married the former Patsy G. Hardin on April 26, 1980, in Cottage Hills and she survives. Other survivors include two daughters: Brenda Hawkins and her companion: Chris Rose of Blytheville, Arkansas, Molly Jones of Cottage Hills, one son: Darryl Herron and his fiance': Kathe Agney of Bethalto, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was formerly employed at Olin Brass as a fork lift driver for 39 years prior to his retirement in 1997. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: Ricky Myers, Thomas Dale Myers, a grandson: Cody Kelley, and one brother: Delaine.
In celebration in his life visitation will be from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Graveside will be held at 1pm on Monday, October 22, 2012, at Bond Cemetery in Knobel, Arkansas.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Riverbend.
