Thomas Wayne Hoover, 79, of St. Louis, MO, passed away at 8:40 p.m. Thurs. Dec. 5, 2024 at his dear friend’s home while under hospice care.
He was born Nov. 21, 1945 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Carly Wayne and EmEllen (Spooner) Hoover.
Thomas was a Historian and Archivist for the Catholic Central Verein of America Central Bureau St. Louis, MO. He was an avid reader and attended Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis.
He is survived by his dear friend: Susan Leibold of Granite City; a brother: John Hoover of St. Louis, MO; and a sister: Mary Jo (Christopher) Tracy of FL.
Burial at St. John Cemetery on Maryville Road will be private.
