Theresa Ann Rogers, (Kraus), of Madison, IL entered into eternal life on Tues. Mar. 24, 2026.
She was born Aug. 1, 1939 to John and Regina (Ziolkowski) Kraus.
She was married to Dwayne “Tex” S. Rogers on April 15, 1961, in Dallas, Texas. They shared 59 years together before his passing May 6, 2020.
She was a lifelong member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Madison and St Anne's Society.
She worked for many years at Edison Brothers Shoe Company, but she most treasured the time spent watching and caring for her grandchildren when they were little. She also cherished her winters in South Texas, where sunshine and friendship filled her days. She loved fishing and camping and enjoyed the thrill of the casino.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Karyn L Topal of GC, Jahnne Kae (Paul) Blattner of Waterloo, son Dwayne S Rogers II of Madison, grandchildren Bryan S Topal, Kaylyn (Travis) Cage, Ashley (Trey) Burris, great grandchildren Carleigh Topal, Zachary Cage, Brayden Topal, Lily Burris and Daisy Burris, brother-in-law, Dennis (Blackie) Rogers, sister-in-law, Janet Harris and many extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Kraus Jr, a sister, Marsia Tebbe, son-in-law, Mickey Topal.
Memorial visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Tues. Apr. 7, 2026 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celerated at 11:00 a.m. Tues. Apr. 7, 2026 at St. Mary’s St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Madison, IL with Fr. Stephen Thompson as celebrant. Private burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
Memorials may be made to masses or St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
