Stanley Klein

Stanley A. Klein, age 88 of Marine, IL, died Friday, November 22, 2024, at his residence in Marine, IL.

He was born on Sunday, August 9, 1936, in O Fallon, IL, the son of  Henry and Christine (nee Rosen) Klein.

On Saturday, October 19, 1957, he married Karen J. Klein nee Anderson in Belleville, IL, who passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 520.

Stanley was born in O'Fallon, IL; he went to St. Clare Catholic Grade School and graduated from O'Fallon Township High School. He worked with Operating Engineers Local 520 for 40 years and retired in April of 2000. 

He loved and enjoyed his pet dogs Mason and Max; his daily drives to Casey's (Highland) for a cup of coffee and a cookie, and Friday nights eating fish dinner's at Boogie's Restaurant, Maryville, IL.

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, and 8 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. 

Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL.
