Shirley M. "Aunt Tinnie" Plank Ellis, 98, passed away at 6:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at University Forest Care Center in St. Louis.
Born on May 26, 1917 in Naples, IL, she was the daughter of Eugene Hatfield and Alice M. O'Keefer.
'Aunt Tinnie' was an avid Cardinal Baseball fan and although gone, she will not be forgotten.
She married William Elmer Plank and then John Ellis, both who preceded her in death.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jerry, Roger and Jack Hatfield and Betty Carpenter.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
