Sandra “Sandi” L. Cooper, 70, passed away at 7:05 am Monday, April 20, 2015 at her home under the care of BJC Hospice.
She was born October 25, 1944 in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of Edward and Pauline (Dossey) Clapp.
She married Dennis Cooper on July 20, 1963 in Cottage Hills Baptist Church. He survives.
Sandra and her husband are owner/operators of Genos 140 Club in Bethalto.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Cord and Kelly Cooper and Shane and Stacy Cooper all of Bethalto; five grandchildren, Meaghan Kearbey and her husband, Chris, Caitlyn, Jordan, Dylan and Wyatt Cooper; four great grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Clayton and Machayla and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the funeral home with officiating.
Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
