Ronald “Ron” Duane Walden, 68, of Medora passed away at 11:22 am on Thurs Sept 28, 2017 at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. He was born on Sept 22, 1949 in Carrollton, IL to Victor E & Josephine Helen (Alward) Walden.He worked in the Maintenance department of Southwestern High School and owned and operated the Walden General Repair Shop in MedoraRon was a long time member of the Tri-County Rod and Gun Club and the Jerseyville MooseHe is survived by daughters & sons in laws: Cindi & Randy Rieke of Hillsboro, IL and Jenni & Rodney Miller of Steeleville, MO, sons & daughters in laws: Kristoffer & Lisa Walden of Hillsboro, IL and Adam & Michele Walden of Plainview, 17 Grandchildren & 9 Great Grandchildren and brother & sister in law: Kevin & Glenda Walden of Brighton and niece: Bethany & Dustin Riechmann and nephews: Nathan & Kelsi Walden and Nicholas & Melissa Walden.He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 2-5 pm Sun Oct 1, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge F H in Medora Funeral Services will be at 10 am on Mon Oct 2, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge F H in Medora with Fr Bill Kessler  officiating       Burial will be in Summerville Cemetery
