Ronald Cunningham

Ronald Louis Cunningham, 76, of Gillespie, IL, died at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 4:30 pm. 

He was born June 12, 1945, in Carlinville, IL to Louis Cunningham & Margret Radae Cunningham.  He married Betty Jean Stoops Cunningham.  He was retired after having been an electrician for Granite City Steel.  Ronald enjoyed old cars. 

He is survived by his son, Eric Cunningham of Springfield, IL, daughter, Donna Trask of Springfield, IL, grandchildren, Shanda Richey, Lee Barnes, Craig Barnes, great-grandchildren, K'Leeonna Traylor, Larry Singleton, Layla Singleton, La'Damien Singleton, La'Mont Singleton, River Cunningham, sisters, Joyce Bertoldi, Eleanor Veschak, several nieces and nephews and special friend, Ruth Lockhart. 

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, brothers, David  Cunningham, Larry Cunningham, and two nephews. 

Friends may call on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at  Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Funeral services are Friday, January 28, 2022, at 11:00 am at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL.  Burial will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Carlinville, IL.  Memorials are suggested to Boys Town.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.  Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL  is in charge of the arrangements.
