Ronald Harang

Ronald Laverne Harang, 88, died at 6:02 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at his residence.

He was born February 5, 1937 in Mason City, Iowa, the son of the late Albert and Thelma (Osheim) Harang. Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a truck driver for UPS for many years.

On April 29, 1961 in Jacksonville, IL he married Edna Flynn and she survives. 

Also surviving are two daughters, Therese Averbeck, Kathryn Beard (Robert), three sons, David Harang, Michael Harang (Virginia), Patrick Harang (Christina), nine grandchildren, Ashley (John), AJ (Emma), Curtis (Libby), Alexander, Alyssa (Bailey), Ryan Patrick, Olivia Marie (Justin), Adrian (Alana), Zachary (Alison), four great grandchildren, Ripley, Atlas, Kaden and Avery. 

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son in law, Duane Averbeck, one brother, David Harang and one sister, Lavonne Clark.

All services are private. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
