Roderick R. Booth, 73, passed away on January 20, 2026, at his residence in Godfrey, Illinois.
He was born on July 31, 1952, in Stoughton, Wisconsin, to Philip and Aletha (Rule) Booth.
Roderick married Kathleen Collins on August 11, 1991, in Elsah, Illinois.
Roderick was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Alton-Godfrey. He enjoyed all sports and particularly loved playing tennis. He loved his pets and all animals.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kat Collins Booth of Godfrey, IL; his brother, Richard (Chestnut) Booth of Godfrey, IL; his sister, Susan (Booth) Mack Snipes of Boston, MA; his sister-in-law, Joy Booth of Boston, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tim Booth.
Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
