Rita Ann Frank, age 69 of Highland, IL, died Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Saint Mary Health Center in Saint Louis, MO.
She was born on Wednesday, September 12, 1956, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Alvin and Lucille (nee Prott) Frank.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, as well as the Altar Society in Marine.
Rita was born in Highland and grew up in Marine. She graduated in 1974 from Triad High School. Rita worked at Special Services in Alton after high school and then worked at Buzzie's drive-in, now called The Highland Diner until 2010. Rita took care of her Mother until 2012 when they both moved to the Hitz Home in Alhambra. Rita moved to the Highland Home in 2021.
Rita enjoyed cross-stitch, crocheting, crafts and collecting rosaries. She loved playing bingo and listening to musical entertainment, especially The Mis-Fits at the Highland Home. She enjoyed watching old-TV shows and loved the St. Louis Cardinals.

- Brother - Roger A. (Judy) Frank, Edwardsville, IL
- Brother - Donald J. (Connie) Frank, Highland, IL
- Nieces and Nephews - 10
- Great Nieces & Nephews - 27
She was preceded in death by:
- Father - Alvin J. "Bud" Frank, died 10/10/2010
- Mother - Lucille Frank (nee Prott), died 1/24/2014
- Sister - Linda L. Frank, died 11/4/2025
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marine, IL, Father John P. Beveridge, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, officiating.
Interment will be at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery in Marine, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Home or St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (Electrical Project).
