Rick J. Freimuth, 65, of Belleville, IL, born March 26, 1960, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, November 14, 2025, at Belleville Healthcare Center.
Rick worked for many years at Illinois American Water. He later worked in the electrical and construction fields. He enjoyed being outdoors, and especially loved his time spent fishing, camping, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Lucille, nee Boeckman, Freimuth; two brothers, Ralph and David (Veronica) Freimuth; and two sisters, Bonnie Ward and Cindy Freimuth.
Surviving are his daughter, Marlana Hubert; a grandson; two sisters, Dianne (Roger) Mueller and Mary Ann Newstrom; two step-sisters, Sherry Hackbarth and Debra Steinman; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.
According to Rick’s wishes, cremation was held.
