Richard D. Ford, 66, formerly of Brighton, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at his home in Perkins, Missouri.
He was born March 27, 1954, in White Hall, Illinois, to the late Ferris M. and Myrtle (Gibler) Ford.
Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served as an Electrical Technician.
Survivors include his children, Travis Ford of Maine, Richard Lytle of Charleston, SC; one sister, Patricia (Jack) Howard of Piasa; and one brother, Donald (Diane) Ford of Brighton;
He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Ford and a sister, Melva (William 'Buck') Solomon.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton with Mike Solomon officiating.
Private burial will be held at a later date in White Hall Cemetery.
