Rhea Linebarger

Rhea Linebarger, 88, of Alton, passed into the hand of God Monday, November 13, 2023.  Born on May 24, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Lulu Bailey.  Rhea married the late Edwin Linebarger on October 18, 1957.

Rhea was preceded in death by her sister Arlene and her brother Kenneth.  She is survived by her sister Dorothy and daughter Rhonda Linebarger-Gravemann (Kevin) of East Alton. 

Rhea wished her remains to be donated to St Louis University School of Medicine, to further the advancement of medical research.  A memorial will be held at a later time at St. Louis Cathedral.  Memorials can be made to Crisis Food Center of Alton.
