Paul Hoemmen

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Paul A. Hoemmen Jr. Born in Carrollton, IL, on March 22, 1952, he was the son of the late Paul and Helen Kieme Hoemmen and son in law of the late Mathais and Irene Telkamp. Paul was a beloved husband to Patricia Telkamp Hoemmen; they were high school sweethearts who married on February 14, 1970.

He was the father of the late Robert (Bobby) Hoemmen and Johnathan Hoemmen, and he leaves behind his loving children Sheila (Hank) Katzenberger, Jasen (Mary) Hoemmen, William Hoemmen, Christina (Keith) Kasinger, and Michael (Jordyn) Hoemmen.

He precedes two sisters, Angie (Larry) Imming and Paulette (Norman) Sievers. Paul was also a proud grandfather to Zach (Bri) Katzenberger, Lexie Katzenberger, Caleb Katzenberger, Isaiah Katzenberger, Andrew (Tess) Hoemmen, Lucas Hoemmen, Emma Hoemmen, MaKenzie Kasinger, Mason Kasinger, Blake Hoemmen, and Brooks Paul Hoemmen.

Visitation will be held at Gress, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Brussels on Monday, December 9th, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be held, Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM St. Mary’s Church in Brussels. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
