Patty Kozar

Patricia “Patty” A. Kozar (nee Blamy), 64, of Shiloh, IL, born on December 26, 1960, in France, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2025, at her home.

Patty was a loving mother and grandmother to her grand dogs and grand cats. She had an unforgettable laugh that would fill up an entire room. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Edward and Constance Mary Blamy (nee Brennan).

Left to cherish Patty’s memory are her two children, Ashley Marie (Brian Galati) Kozar of Troy, IL, Michael (Miranda Lopez) Kozar of Belleville, IL; two siblings, Mary (Mark) Johnson of New Baden, IL, Henry (Lisa) Blamy of Eureka, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., at Schildknecht Funeral Home; 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O’Fallon, IL 62269.
