Nancy Scroggins

Nancy J. Scroggins, 76, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at La Bella of Alton on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 9:50 pm. She was born May 12, 1948, in Alton, IL to Lylburn Cagle & Josephine Glass Cagle Bewig. She married Randolph David Scroggins on June 17, 1967 at the First Congregational Church of Bunker Hill. She was a school teacher. Nancy was a member of the First Congregational Church of Bunker Hill, Bunker Hill Library Board, Bunker Hill Beautification Committee and Alton Teachers Union. She enjoyed birds, sewing, cooking, flowers, gardening, playing the organ and the piano. She is survived by her spouse, Randy Scroggins of Bunker Hill, IL, children, Amanda (Nick) Rawdon of Easton, IL, Andrew (Heidi) Scroggins of Chicago, IL, grandchildren, Ashlyn Rawdon, Jordyn Rawdon, Clark Scroggins, siblings, Jennifer (Terry) Wilhite of Springfield, IL, Tom Cagle of Montgomery, AL, Sam (Barbara) Cagle of Lacey, WA, mother in law, Laura Creech of Alton, IL, numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, father in law, David Scroggins, step father in law, Harold Creech. Arrangements are pending at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL.
