Miriam Ann King, 46 passed away at 12:08 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at La Bella of Edwardsville.
She was born August 28, 1978 in Alton, the daughter of Laverne Eugene Price and Melanie (King) McGowan and step father, William McGowan.
She was a taxi cab driver for many years.Miriam loved her cat, Bear, and playing games on her computer.She loved her son very much and her grandmother, Edith.
Besides her parents and stepfather, she is survived by one son, Charles Teague, Jr. of Alton, three sisters, Heather Rene King, Teresa Michelle King andJessica Ameil Sanchez Cardso, grandparents, Edith and Lawrence McDonald and Shirley McGowan and numerous aunts and uncles, Roscoe King, Terry King, Mike King, April Moore, Pam Bouton, Dale McDonald and Tracy McDonald.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Roscoe King, Willam McGowan, Jr and great grandparents, Stanley and Stella Dalton, Edward and Alice King and Madline McDonald and one uncle, Brian McDonald.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Reverend William Hale will officiate.Memorials may be made to the family.Additional information and online guest book may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
