Michael Lee Halcom, 56, left this world to be with his maker passing peacefully in his sleep on January 5th, 2026, in Chiefland, FL.
Born July 1st, 1969, in Alton, IL graduated from Southwestern Highschool in Brighton, IL and received an associate in CAD from Lewis & Clark Community College Godfrey, IL.
He is survived by a brother Irvin Leroy Halcom Jr., his children Alexandrea (Joshua) Boals, Joshua Halcom, Thomas Halcom, Benjamin Halcom and three grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by both parents, Irvin Leroy Halcom & Lois Jean (Bryant) Halcom and two siblings, Debbie Halcom and David Halcom.
He was an artistic, adventurous man that enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. He did not know a stranger.
A memorial will be held on February 7th, 2026, from 10:30am to 3:30pm in the Muensterman Pavilion at Gordon Moore, located at 4550 College Ave., Alton, IL 62002. Please join family and friends for food and share fond memories.
