Michael John Fohne, age 63 of Highland, IL, died Sunday, December 14, 2025, at his home in Highland, IL.
He was born on Tuesday, January 30, 1962, in Highland, IL, the son of Cletus “Clete” and Carol (nee Griesbaum) Fohne.
Michael was born in Highland, Illinois, and grew up there. He graduated in 1980 from Highland High School. Michael went to work at B-Line in the IT department, then on to the sales department which took him to Texas and Atlanta. The last 15 years he worked at Allstate Insurance as a salesman. Michael loved golf and would play twice a week with friends at various golf course in the Metro East area. He was an avid football and baseball fan and watched the games on tv. Michael also enjoyed playing games with his nieces and nephews.

- Mother - Carol S. Fohne, nee Griesbaum - Died 12/31/2006
- Brother - Scott W. Fohne, died 5/13/2024
- Brother-In-Law - William B. "Bill" Taylor, III - Died 7/26/2017
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
A Private Graveside Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL.
Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to Weinheimer Community Center.
