Melinda “Mindy” Epps, 45, of Bethalto passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her friends and family.
She was born on Jan. 9, 1977, in Alton. She married Tom Epps on Nov. 27, 1999. Mindy worked for Graybar for the last 23 years.
She loved spending time with family, friends, and her dogs. In her free time, she enjoyed trivia, murder mysteries, doing makeup, and taking trips.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Epps of Bethalto; sister, Melissa (Matt) Abromovich of Rosewood Heights; mother-in-law, Christina Epps of Bethalto; brothers-in-law, Mike (Donna) Epps of Holiday Shores, Andy (Missy) Epps of Wood River and Tim (Jennifer) Epps of Rosewood Heights; sister-in-law, Sandy Jones of Godfrey; several nieces and nephews; numerous friends and her two dogs, Lulu and Frankie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Jones; mother Linda (nee: Palmer) Jones, and father-in-law, Wayne Epps.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
