Mary Jo Dresch, 78, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at her home.
Born March 4, 1946 in Alton, she was a daughter of Joseph and Selma (Bartels) Rezabek.
She married William James Dresch Oct. 26, 1963. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2023.
Mary Jo retired as a cap operator in the Centerfire Primer department at Olin-Winchester. One of Mary Jo's favorite pastimes was sitting on her front porch listening to her windchimes.
Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Selma Rezabek; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Morris and Luell Dresch; her brothers, George Rezabek and James Rezabek; her brothers-in-law Paul Dresch, Chuck Wagner and Jerry Lavelle.
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Mary) Dresch of Brighton and Wendy (Rick) Jackson of South Roxana; her grandsons, Jarrett Dresch of Brighton and Josh (Laci) Jackson of South Roxana; her great granddaughter, Joci Jackson of South Roxana; sisters Mary Kay (Jim) Hughart of Fieldon, Theresa Lavelle of Edwardsville, and Jeanie Huff of St. Peters, MO; her brothers, Bruce (Donna) Rezabek of Glen Carbon, Richard (Alice) Rezabek of Edwardsville, Marvin (Donna) Rezabek of Chandler, AZ, Francis (Nancy) Rezabek of Columbia, MO; a brother-in-law Jerry (Judie) Dresch of Lakeview, AR; sisters-in-law Sandi Wagner of Alton, Marilyn Dresch of El Dorado Springs, MO and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
