Mary Bazzell

Mary Kathleen Bazzell, 79, died at 11:42 a.m. Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born February 28, 1944 in Alton, she was the daughter of Henry Joseph and Christine L. (Greenwell) Kreinest. She married Floyd Richard Bazzell on February 27, 1965 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Alton. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Tyrone Richard Bazzell of New Port Richey, FL, and Lance Henry (Susan) Bazzell of Godfrey, and two grandchildren, Connor Jeffrey Bazzell and Chloe Marie Bazzell. No services are scheduled. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
