Mark Conway

Mark E. Conway, 63, of White Hall, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born, November 25, 1961 in Jacksonville to Henry and Beverly (Wease) Conway. He married Cherie Wahl, August 6, 1999 in Jacksonville, and she survives.

He is also survived by his daughters, Brandi Upchurch and Jenna (Dave) Willenburg, his step-daughters, Cayla Lopez and Cassandra Green, his son, Dakota Kisselbach, his ten grandchildren, and his sisters, Shelley Lawson and Tracy (Vance) Dirksmeyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one granddaughter, Amellia Davis.

Mark served his country in the United States Army for 22 years. He was a simple man and enjoyed camping, fishing, video games, and all kinds of animals. He could always be found watching the news to keep up with current events. He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by those that knew him.

A funeral service will be held at Shields-Bishop Funeral Home Friday, October 25 at 11 am. Visitation will be from 9 am until time of funeral service. Burial will follow at Witt Cemetery near Rockbridge. Memorials are requested to the family in care of the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
