Mark Gerard Baahlmann, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Jerseyville Community Hospital.
Born on July 20, 1954, in Great Lakes, Illinois, Mark was the second eldest child of Ralph and Ginny (Gangloff) Baahlmann. A lifelong resident of Alton, Illinois, he graduated from Marquette High School in 1972 and later earned an arts degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Mark owned and operated Mark 1 Dental Lab for many years before continuing his career at Hi-Tech Dental Lab, where he worked until his retirement. He was a devoted member of St. Ambrose Church and was active in the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his sister, Barb Boyd (Toby); brother, Matt Baahlmann (Teri); sister, Nancy Reese (Tom); and brother, John Baahlmann (Nancy). He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ralph and Ginny Baahlmann, and his brother, Ralph Baahlmann.
Mark enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, gardening, and raising pigeons. He was also an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues.
The family would like to thank Charter Senior Living of Godfrey, San Gabriel Memory Care, and Jerseyville Manor Nursing Home for the love and care they provided to Mark over the past several years.
