Maisie G. Corbin, 86, passed away at 11:04 am Thursday February 2, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Health Center with her family by her side.
She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO March 16, 1925 the daughter of the late Skeeter and Ethel Arnold.
She married Ed Corbin and he preceded her in death.
Maisie was a Homemaker. She enjoyed playing Checkers, and gardening, her favorite flower were Roses and loved going to yard sales.
She is survived by three grandchildren Ron Swiecicki, Rob Swiecicki, Tammy Lakin, nine great- grandchildren Joe Ragan, Tiffany Swiecicki, Brittany Swiecicki, Crystal Swiecicki, Amber Swiecicki, Clint Swiecicki, Daniel Swiecicki, Cory Swiecicki, Codie Chambers, two great-great-grandchildren Briana Gambino, Dakota Lynn Barnes (due in March) and her long time companion David Henry Morgan.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded by two children Lorraine Daniel, and Esley “Butch” Reese, two grandchildren Jeff Swiecicki and Tonya Reese.
Visitation will be from 10 am to the time of service at 1 pm Monday February 6, 2012 at Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Rev. Tracy Montgomery officiating.
Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton, IL.
Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
