Lori Jan “Lo Lo” Tappy, 65, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at her home.
Born July 26, 1959, she was a daughter of John Lee Fudurich and Ginger M. (Hargis) Fudurich Vandiver.
She married Michael Tappy Sept. 23, 1977 in Rosewood Heights. He survives.
Lori retired as a food service manager for Roxana School District after over 20 years of service. She often had former students approach her to say hello after many years. She enjoyed camping, listening to music, and watching St. Louis Cardinals and Blues games. She especially loved attending youth sporting events of her kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews, and actually coached a few of those teams.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Amy Tappy (Brett) of Highland, Amber Tappy (Ben) of Roxana, and Nealy (Josh) Budde of Bunker Hill; 2 grandchildren, Jaxson McBride and Avery Doolin; her sister, Lisa (Darrell) Clendenny of East Alton; a sister-in-law, Karen (Tom) Martin; nieces, Jennifer Clendenny, Kelli (Tyler), Brianne (Jimmy) Bourne, Kara Jean and her husband Shannon, and Megan (Ryan) Parker; and great nieces and great nephews Jadan Clendenny, Rae Lee Kimbro, Jacob Kimbro, and Kenan Poindexter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and also her stepfather, Calvin Vandiver.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 10 a.m. until services begin at noon. Burial will follow.
