Larry T. “Shotz” Scheller, 87, of Brighton, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 28, 1937, in White City, IL, the son of the late Alfred and Mary (Yaeger) Scheller.
Larry married Sharon Kosowski on June 3, 1960, in Mt. Olive. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2024. Together they raised two children Loren Scheller of Gillespie and Cheryl (Rick) Williams of Brighton; three grandchildren Loren Jr. (Brianne) Scheller, Jordan (Jicky) Li, and Jeremy (Amanda) Williams; daughter in law Maggie Scheller; surviving siblings, sister Marilyn “Sis” (Bob) Mengelkamp and brother, Gerald “Arf” Scheller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister Norma Kehnast; brother Estel Scheller.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton with no services scheduled.
