Landon Bollinger
Brighton | Save
Landon Alexander Bollinger, 26, died Monday, June 30, 2025 at St. Louis University Hospital.
Born April 30, 1999 in Alton, he was the son of Jamey Bollinger of Brighton and Jami Fairfax of Lincoln, IL. Landon was a Specialist with the U.S. Army Reserves and worked as a diesel and helicopter mechanic.
Along with his parents, Landon is survived by his daughter, Aila Bollinger and her mother, Olivia Mayden of Alton, three brothers, Dylan Bollinger of Alton, Tobin Faulkner of Virginia, and Aidyn Faulkner of South Korea, and his grandparents, Tina Bollinger of Brighton and Mark and Nancy Leady of Alton. Also surviving are his Uncle Jacobi Coggins of Brighton, Uncle Josh and Aunt Krystal Coggins of Brighton, and Uncle Brad Kimble of Jerseyville as well as many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Uncle Eric Fairfax.
In Landon’s free time he found peace in the simple things in life like; fishing, his love for cars, playing his many guitars, and most importantly, spending time with his family, especially his daughter Aila. Though his time with us was too short, Landon spent his 26 years living life to the fullest.
Those who had the honor to know Landon will remember his infectious smile, his overwhelming laughter, kind heart, and that he never knew a stranger. Landon followed in a line of family members that bravely and admirably served this country and for that we will always be grateful to him.
There are no words that can express how grateful we are to have had Landon for 26 years and all the memories we will hold in our hearts.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral services at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Pastor Blake Schuette will officiate. Burial will be private.
