Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Ott, 76, passed away at 6:15 am on Monday, April 13, 2026 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born on September 8, 1949 in Carrollton, Illinois to Ray Allen and Mary Lemke.
She married Galen Ott in Alton, Illinois in October 20, 1990. He survives.
Kathy worked as a waitress and cook at several local restaurants, including KFC and Sports Tap Bar & Grill. She was an avid collector of Precious Moments figurines and adored her pet cat, Rascal. She and Galen enjoyed leisurely drives down the River Road together. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her husband, Galen, Kathy is survived by her (sisters), Diana King, Linda Creason; (brother n law), Neil (Joni) Ott, (cousins) June Calvin, Debbie (Bill) Fitzgibbons, Melissa Johnson, Jennifer Allen, Keri (David) Hill, and Sheri Allen (Fiancé) Andrew Casper; (distant cousins), Lili Hill and Gage Hans.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Ray Allen and Mary Lemke, (Uncle) Burrell Allen, (Aunts) Rosie Maulding and Ruth Dyer, (Cousins) Terry Sr and Terry Jr. (Grandparents) Mommy and Poppy.
A graveside service will be held privately at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bethalto, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to 5A's Animal Shelter located in Alton IL.
