Karen Annette Miller, 45, died at 9:23 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at her residence.
She was born May 19, 1980 in Alton, IL the daughter of James “Jim” Harrop and the late Catherine Jo (Miller) Harrop, who preceded her in death November 2003.
On April 20, 2013 in Alton, she married Shawn Andrew Miller, and he preceded her in death in 2013.
Besides her father, she is survived by two sons, Joseph “Joey” James Bowman of Wildwood, MO and Matthew Andrew Miller of Alton, two brothers, James Harrop (Jamie), Mike Harris and four sisters, Tressa Yinger (Benjamin), Tina Harrop (Josh), Angela Wood (Chris) and Paula Triplett (Curt).
A memorial visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
