Karen Denny

Karen Catherine Denny, nee Killian, 79, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, April 20, 1946, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Dammert Care Center in Belleville.

Karen worked at Scott Air Force Base for over 30 years, with her last role as a Chief Acquisition Specialist. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and always looked forward to watching their games. She also enjoyed playing pinochle and spending time with family- especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Father: Jefferson D. Killian Sr.
• Mother: Lucille, nee Flittner, Killian
• Sister: Patricia Killian

Surviving are her:

• Daughter: Annette (Brett) Anderson of Saint Paul, MN
• Son: Bryan (Heather) Denny of Genoa City, WI
• Brother: Jefferson D. (Madeline) Killian, Jr. of Lake Geneva, WI
• Sister: Marsha (Larry) Cottom of Columbia, IL
• Grandchildren:

  • Mackenzie Anderson
  • Hannah Denny

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s – St. Louis.

Services: Private family interment will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
