Joseph Charles Sheets, 56, of Alton, IL died on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 4:36 a.m. at Integrity Care in Wood River, IL.
He was born on January 4, 1962 in Alton, IL to Warren Willard Sheets and Elsie Ilene Markle Sheets-Westbrook.
Joseph worked as a handyman, construction worker and as security for an auction yard. He enjoyed watching football, drinking his Pepsi and doing his OTHER. His love for OTHER was witnessed by everyone who hung around him.
Joseph is survived by a son, Jason Sheets of Las Vegas, NV, 3 grandchildren: Skylar Sheets of Las Vegas, NV, Landon and Liam Sheets of East Alton, IL; siblings: Jim (Karen) Sheets of Cynthiana, IN, Jackie (Jackie) Sheets of Ft. Worth, TX and John Sheets of East Alton, IL, Marcia Giberson of East Alton, IL and Edna (Scott) Williams of Lakeland, FL and abundant nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He will be deeply missed by a very large family and his best friends.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Claudia Sheets.
