John Paul Bierman, 55, of Jerseyville passed away on May 18, 2017 in the emergency room of the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital in Siloam Spring, AR.
He was born on July 8, 1961 at Jerseyville, IL a son of John Bierman & Anna Belle (Ontis) Bierman Holliday.
He was married to Janice (Fountain) Bierman who preceded him in death.
He worked at Amsted Rail in Granite City as a sand mill operator.
Survived by his Mother, Anna Belle Bierman Holliday of Jerseyville; two sons, Clayton Long of Marianna, AR and Wade (Tracey) Long of Wasilla, AK, one daughter, Doni Jo Long of Siloam Springs, Two sisters: Vicky Taylor of Watts, OK and Pennie Steele of Jerseyville; four brothers & sisters in laws: Lester (Robin) Bierman of Jerseyville, Eric (Judy) Bierman of Medora, Dennis (Shelly) of Jerseyville and Pat Bierman of Jerseyville,
seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded on death by his father, wife and brother in law, John Taylor
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Sun May 21, 2017 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral home in Siloam Springs.Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tues May 23, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge FH in Medora.
Funeral Services will be 10 am Wed May 24, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge FH in Medora with Rev Clyde Shaw officiating.
Burial will be in the Medora Cemetery
