John Bohn

John Michael Bohn, 61, died at 12:22 a.m. Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born March 16, 1963 in Alton, he was the son of Barbara (Kelly) Bohn of Alton and the late John J. Bohn. He worked for Albertin Auto Body for over 40 years. On December 27, 1993 he married the former Bethany Mellinger in Virginia Beach, VA. She preceded him in death on March 16, 2023. Surviving are two daughters, Piper Bohn of Godfrey and Madison Bohn of Godfrey, a son, John Bohn of Madison, WI, and four sisters, Shannon Sholar (John) of Alton, Bridget Bohn (Kenny) of Alton, Gabriel Mormino (Matt) of Omaha, NE, and Alison Stewart (Billy) of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his father and his wife. A memorial visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
