John E. Blondell, 57, of Wood River, IL, born Sunday, December 10, 1967, in Scott AFB, IL, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at his residence in Wood River, IL.
John worked as a Survey/Engineer for a Telecommunications Company. He was a member of Douglas Lodge #361 AF & AM – Mascoutah, IL, Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shriners, Cast Past Secretary/Treasurer. Hospital Unit Past President, Past Membership Committee Chairman, Past Circus Publicity Chairman, Sportsmans Raffle Founder, Shrine Fund Raising Past President, SFA- Current Secretary, High 12 #35 President-Belleville, High 12 Past Illinois State President and current Sgt, of Arms, High 12 International 2nd Vice President, Illinois Demolay Past State Master Counselor 1989, Egyptian Preceptory LOH-Dean, and Scottish Rite Deputy Master Lodge of Perfection.
He was preceded in death by his:

Visitation: Visitation from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.
Walkthrough: Walk-through’s will start at 3:45pm by the Hospital Unit and, High 12 and Shrine Fund Raising Members.
Services: Masonic Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., October 5, 2025 followed be a share time.
