Joarmand Johnson, 85, passed away 4:10 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at her home.
Born in Wood River on November 19, 1929, she was the daughter of Joseph and I.C. (Clagg) Walker.
She had been a registered nurse and nursing supervisor at Wood River Hospital for 23 years before retiring in 1993.
She is survived by her sons, Ricky Stocker of Meadowbrook, Joey Stocker of Godfrey; daughters, Diana O'Connell of Springfield, Sherry (Keith) Autenrieth of Bethalto; grandson, Andrew Lenhardt; and very special friend, Linda Potter.
Preceding in death were her parents; son, Michael Stocker; granddaughter, April Marie Autenrieth; and step-father, Perry Johnson.
In accordance with her wishes, her body was cremated. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
